PC Software Development (as part of a team)

PC-CIS: A DOS-based sales force automation package written in C accessing a Paradox DBMS engine. Created with Garcon, Inc. for SDC Software.
Color Coordinator: Written in PowerBuilder, this package assists interior designers in appliance, fixture and color selections for new homes. Created by SoftBox, Inc.
SCOR: A DOS-based program, written in FoxPro, which assists medical billing professionals in selecting the most-profitable billing combination and avoiding costly billing errors.
HitLoTTo: A PowerBuilder C/S application to sell shares in pools of lottery tickets. Created by SoftBox, Inc.

My Education:

I took a class at Virginia Tech called The World Wide Web: Beyond the Basics. We discussed issues about the Web and covered some Java. We wrote a book, too. (I wrote the chapter on Ubiquitous Computing.) The book has been published and is for sale.(Proceeds go to the graduate student association.)
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. I took all programming classes like Graphics, Image Processing, Neural Networks and I got straight A's. My thesis project was a SAS program to analyze road data provided by the Nevada Department of Transportation.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. I specialized in Computer Engineering and graduated with distinction.
I spent my freshman year at the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha County.

My Hangouts: I currently live in Blacksburg, Virginia. I also spent 14 enjoyable years in Reno, Nevada. I was raised in Muskego, Wisconsin.

I'm taking a C++ class at Virginia Tech. It's called Object-Oriented Programming and Design.
