System Overview
The Maintenance Scheduling System (MSS) is a comprehensive and flexible package designed to support all aspects of the maintenance and accounting departments. The system can be integrated with the Standard Inventory System (SIS) and Standard Purchasing System (SPS) to provide a complete closed loop system. For users with their own Inventory and Purchasing system, SDC provides the source code for all of the modules so integration is simple and easy. The MSS system provides for tracking of any type of equipment from rolling stock to fix plant equipment. Ease of use and flexibility make this product a stand out.

Equipment Master File
The Equipment Master File will allow the user to track the asset ID, status, equipment location, department, description, equipment class, manufacturer, model, serial number, purchase date, installation date, cost, warranty dates and information, disposal dates and more.
Employee Information
The Employee Information Master allows the user to track the trade, shift and employee rate.
Standard Tasks
The Standard Tasks allows the user to create standard tasks to eliminate redundant entry. The task file will indicate the trade, hours and number of employees required.
Standard Task Instructions
The Standard Task Instructions allows the user to create instructions to eliminate redundant entry of instructions.
Standard Trades
The Standard Trades file allows consistent entry of trades information for each job.
Rate Codes
The Rate Codes File allows the user to override the regular employee rate codes. These can be used for overtime rates or any special rates that might be charged to a work order.
Priority Codes
The Priority Codes File allows the planner to rank the priority of each work order.
Work Order Types
The Work Order Type File allows the user to create different types of work orders. These types might include Breakdowns, Preventative Maintenance, Projects, Shutdown, Station Fills etc.
Location File
The Location File allows the system to track equipment to a specific location.
Planners
The Planner File allows the users to assign a person to be responsible for the completion of each Work Order.
