The Standard Inventory System (SIS) is a comprehensive Inventory Control system that is designed to enhance the productivity of a companys' materials management department. The difference between SIS and other products of this type stems from the design. h was designed to control the flow of inventory with a detail history of every transaction that occurs in the system, allowing the user to track stock movement.
The SIS has inquiry options for users to check the status of stock in one warehouse or all of the warehouses. If shortages exist in one specific warehouse inventory can be transferred from other locations with overstock or just prevent a temporary stock out situation.
The SIS can be used in conjunction with the SDC Standard Purchasing System for a totally seamless combination that allows the user to automatically reorder stock shortages based on usage or min/max levels. The SIS makes a perfect combination for a user that has an order entry system that is lacking a comprehensive inventory control system to interface with their system.
This is a users system. It is set up by the user and maintained by the user for an error free and comprehensive system that will pay for itself within a few months.
